Monday, January 24th, 2005- Pacific Ocean

10:15pm- 5:15am Est. (1/25/05)- Still on this ship… This evening we had a surprise meeting with the captain for the whole shipboard community in regards to the status of our travels. We were informed that in the past couple of days we have hit a bunch of storms and seen waves that were 40ft along with winds that reached 100.3 mph. Many people have become concerned but the captain says we’re doing ok. Whether we get to Korea on time is another issue. Hopefully if we come upon some clear weather soon we will be able to stay the course otherwise we may be in jeopardy of falling a bit behind. It’s nice to know that the captain expects for us to start to smooth out… the bad part is he just doesn’t know when that will happen.
