Sunday, February 27th, 2005- South China Sea -> Singapore

We spent the day sailing by different islands of Malaysia and past many merchant ships. I spent the majority of the afternoon sitting on the back deck reading in the warm sun. At one point there was a line of ship after ship that we kept passing and at one point one of them crossed our stern about 100 meters behind us. I don’t know if it was planned or if we just cut him off but he definitely made a lot of commotion by blowing his horn continuously.
In the evening we stopped in Singapore, in the middle of what looked like a bay. It was real dark so it was hard to see what was happening but a little straw boat and a tug boat were beside us. We stopped for bunkering (gas) and then sometime later in the night continued on our way.
