Tuesday, January 25th,2005- Pacific Ocean

5:10pm- 1:10am Est (1/26/05)- We now finally have some help from the weather. Captain Radican informed us that instead of going into Gael force winds we will now have the help of Hurricane winds from the back now pushing us ahead. Our Captain Radican, as previously mentioned, is quite humorous. He is one of those guys who will ask a question and then answer himself.

For example:

Question: “When will be getting to Korea?”

Radican: “Yes. We will get there at some point.”

Question: “Should we be worried due to the high waves and high winds?”

Radican: “No. I [captain] am the only one who needs to worry because one person worrying is enough.”

Question: “Will this [ride] get better?”

Radican: “Yes. I just don’t know when.”

I basically think there are a lot of people doing a lot of worrying on this ship but they just got to look on the bright side… it can only get better from here.

Tonight we cross the International Dateline so there will be no January 26th aboard the ship. Straight to my birthday, that’s a first.
